Anti-Spam Policy

Document version 1.2 · Effective date: 2026-05-01 · Last updated: 2026-05-26

GetLoomic ("we," "our," "Platform") provides software for B2B email outreach. We are operated from British Columbia, Canada, while many users send to recipients in the United States and elsewhere. This policy describes how we approach Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL, S.C. 2010, c. 23) and the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), together with our technical safeguards.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Regulatory commitments

  • CASL. The Platform supports your CASL workflow by (i) requiring you to enable Canada outreach with an explicit account setting, (ii) providing tokenised unsubscribe URLs you may include in your messages, and (iii) recording suppression entries when those links are used. You remain responsible for obtaining and documenting express or implied consent (or another lawful exemption) before contacting Canadian recipients, for honouring opt-outs within ten (10) business days, and for retaining proof of consent in your own records.
  • CAN-SPAM. The Platform supports your CAN-SPAM workflow by providing tokenised unsubscribe URLs, per-account storage of your mailing address, and per-account suppression records. You are responsible for including a valid physical postal address and a working unsubscribe mechanism in every commercial message you send, for truthful header and subject-line information, and for honouring opt-outs.

We are a technology provider; we do not originate, send, review, approve, or modify the substantive content, targeting, or legality of any email. You remain the sender of record for messages sent through your connected mailbox and are solely responsible for legal compliance.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Obtain and document appropriate consent or another lawful exemption before contacting recipients, including CASL express consent for Canada where required.
  • Honour unsubscribe and opt-out requests within ten (10) business days (CASL and CAN-SPAM each impose this timeline for commercial messages to which they apply).
  • Identify yourself truthfully; include a valid physical mailing address on commercial messages when required by law. You store a mailing address on your account for compliance reference; message content (including footers) is composed in your tools (for example automation workflows).
  • Not forge headers, mislabel messages, or attempt to evade Platform safeguards.
  • AI-assisted content. If you use AI-generated or AI-assisted email content, you must ensure it is truthful and non-deceptive and that you have reviewed it before sending. We recommend (but do not require) a clear disclosure to recipients (for example, "drafted with AI assistance").

3. Platform safeguards

  • Unsubscribe tooling: We provide tokenised unsubscribe URLs (see our API documentation) so recipients can opt out without logging in. When used, clicks are recorded in suppression data to help you avoid re-contacting opted-out addresses.
  • Suppression data: Records may be created when recipients use Platform unsubscribe links. You must not send commercial messages to addresses you know have unsubscribed.
  • Account settings: Options such as outreach to Canada (CASL) and stored mailing address support your own compliance process; you remain responsible for what you send from your connected mailbox.

4. What you must not do

  • Remove or hide mandatory footers or unsubscribe links after messages leave our systems (for example in separate follow-ups outside the Platform that contradict prior opt-outs).
  • Disable, bypass, or tamper with suppression enforcement in integrations you control.
  • Send commercial messages to addresses you know have unsubscribed.

5. Reporting spam

If you believe someone abused GetLoomic to send spam, email service@getloomic.com. We aim to acknowledge within twenty-four (24) hours (Pacific Time, Vancouver) and to investigate credible reports. Depending on the facts, we may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts.

Canadian recipients may also report spam to the Spam Reporting Centre at fightspam.gc.ca. We will cooperate with the CRTC and other authorities as required by law.
