Acceptable Use Policy

Document version 1.0 · Effective date: 2026-05-01 · Last updated: 2026-05-01

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of GetLoomic ("Platform") at getloomic.com. It supplements our Terms of Service and Anti-Spam Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. Prohibited content

You must not use the Platform to distribute content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable law (including content promoting illegal drugs, weapons, fraud, or violence).
  • Is adult or sexual in nature where age verification or compliance obligations are not met, or that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Constitutes hate speech, harassment, or credible threats toward individuals or groups.
  • Is misleading or deceptive (including false endorsements, fake urgency, or materially false claims).
  • Facilitates phishing, malware, ransomware, or viruses.
  • Promotes pyramid schemes, unlawful MLMs, or deceptive "get rich quick" programmes.
  • Promotes cryptocurrency, token offerings, or high-risk financial products without proper disclosure and applicable authorisations.
  • Promotes prescription drugs, controlled substances, or medical treatments without proper authorisation.
  • Promotes gambling or wagering without licences required in the relevant jurisdiction.

2. Prohibited email practices

  • Sending without a lawful basis: you must comply with CASL, CAN-SPAM, and all other applicable marketing laws in every jurisdiction where recipients are located.
  • Misleading subject lines or header data; hiding the true sender identity; forged domains or header spoofing.
  • Using harvested, scraped, or purchased lists where you do not have verifiable rights to contact those addresses.
  • Systematically targeting generic role inboxes (for example info@, sales@, abuse@) as a primary strategy in violation of recipient or provider policies.
  • Sending substantially identical content at scale without meaningful personalisation where such conduct violates provider or legal standards.
  • Contacting anyone who has unsubscribed or objected, or circumventing Platform suppression lists.

3. Volume and rate limits

You must stay within daily send limits and scheduling parameters configured on your account and campaigns. You must not attempt to bypass Platform rate limits, compliance checks, or account restrictions. We may introduce or adjust per-recipient frequency caps, cooldown periods, or warm-up rules as needed to protect deliverability and legal compliance.

4. Reporting abuse

Reports of suspected abuse, spam, and general support inquiries may be sent to service@getloomic.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within twenty-four (24) hours (Pacific Time, Vancouver) and to investigate in good faith.

5. Enforcement

We may warn you, throttle sending, suspend campaigns, or terminate your account for violations of this AUP or the Terms. Where termination is due to material breach, fees already paid may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law and the Terms. We are not obliged to provide a refund for abuse-related terminations.

6. Acceptable use examples

Generally acceptable (if legally compliant):

  • B2B outreach to relevant prospects with truthful messaging and clear identification.
  • Personalised sequences based on accurate lead data and lawful sources.
  • Honouring unsubscribes within ten (10) business days and maintaining suppression records.

Examples of unacceptable use:

  • Blasting millions of identical messages from a newly created domain without warm-up or consent.
  • Using stolen credentials or data breaches to build lead lists.
  • Circumventing unsubscribe or suppression mechanisms provided by the Platform (for example tokenised unsubscribe links or lead stop statuses).
